Now for the good stuff!
Backgrounds!!!

- GDM is what greats you when you log in! Get great GDMs here and here. I strongly recommend getting 4 or more GDMs and to carefully read the comments for bugs.
- Once you download the GDMs go to the top toolbar System>Administrator>Login Window. Enter your password! Then click the Local Tab and click on Add...
- Navigate to your GDM and load them up!
- Make Theme: Random form selected [this is in the drop down menu that orriginally says Selected only]
- This will make the GDMs random, a nice touch! [Now you can quit out of that]
Customize That Toolbar!!!

NOTE: My toolbar is not expanded [saves room] and has a cool bar.

NOTE: My toolbar is not expanded [saves room] and has a cool bar.
- First, to get a nice and easy bar to use, open a terminal [Accessories>Terminal] and then type one at a time:
- sudo apt-get update
- sudo apt-get install gimmie
- Next, go to your top toolbar and right click on the open space. Click on Add to Panel and search for gimmie. Add it and you have a much better search bar now.
- To make your Panel take less space and/or to make it change color, Right click the open space on the dock, This time select Preferences and uncheck expand! <
Background Tab to see the color options.
- Awn is a awesome mac dock that works perfectly!Get awn from the terminal [Accessories>Terminal]
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install awn-manager avant-window-navigator
- Run AWN by pressing
and typing avant-window-navigator - To make AWN run every time the computer starts, Open System>Prefrence>Sessions and add this command avant-window-navigator
